Li Nina and Liu Zhongqiong Swept the Titles in the 2013/2014 FIS Freestyle Skiing World Cup Aerials Series
China swept the men's and women's titles in the 2013/2014 FIS freestyle skiing World Cup aerials series here on Sunday. Both gold medalists are the students of Shenyang Sport University.
Former world champion Li Nina won her first World Cup title following a 10-month injury layoff with the highest score of 94.11 points, beating a star-studded field that includes Olympic champion Lydia Lassila of Australia.
In the men's competition, Vancouver Olympics bronze medalist Liu Zhongqing of China grabbed the gold with a score of 127.15.
The World Cup freestyle skiing aerials series will next move to Beijing on Dec. 21-22.
